| CAVIAR CROWN SETS TRACK & WORLD RECORD June 12, 2009 Caviar Crown (SJ's Caviar-Sharon Crown), established a new track record at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs winning a division of the PASS in 1:53.1. In doing so, the colt also broke the world record for three-year-old trotting colts on a five-eighths mile track set by Algiers Hall and Crazed in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Caviar Crown, driven by Dave Palone, sat the pocket behind Top Chef through fractions of 27.3, 56.2, 1:24.4 before challenging Top Chef down the stretch to easily draw clear at the finish wire. We wish to congratulate owner Dale Wareham and trainer Kris Rickert on this amazing effort. Sharon Crown currently has a Cash Hall weanling filly by her side and is in foal to Conway Hall. |
